Antonio Giacomin – Biography
Watercolorist born in Serra Gaúcha, where, in 1980, began in the world of painting. Interrupted the degree in Arts from the University of Caxias do Sul and was perfect in the United States, Mexico and Europe. In 2007, he launched the book “Poems in Watercolor,” an inventory of thematic images resulting from travel undertaken by various regions of Rio Grande do Sul. In 2012, in partnership with writer Nivaldo Pereira, released the book “Ways to be Brazil” in which they recorded aspects of Brazilian culture. In 2014, in partnership with Marcos Fernando Kirst launched the book “Serra Gaucha: The Past Present”. In 2015, and also partnership with Marcos Fernando Kirst launched the book “Insetolândia”. Won the contest to choose the design of the Queen of the Grape Festival crown 2014. Lives and works in Caxias do Sul, where he maintains his studio.
In 2010 he made his first film “Light and Shadow in Watercolor” with Veopintar company, with great acceptance and recognition in various countries.
